We will start building our track on Jan 17 In Milton, NH 03851. The access road (drive way) is called Saltbox , first drive way on the right just north of the Milton town beach on RT 125. Please, go slow on the rd.

I went and cut some holes this morning, We have 10 inches of ice and I should have the balls to get the truck out there next weekend to plow it off. This year we will have both a oval and a tt course with parking right at the track. The oval will be over 1/8 mile plowed really wide with the tt course on the inside. I hope to get to meet some of you guys.

badasskfx- I had a great time last year. This year will be better now that I have all the bugs taken care of. I helped plow the race car tracks this morning. Two 1/4mile race tracks with a pit in between them. We had 9 full size trucks plowing, it was a good time.

tri-z ripper- The time has come, stud them and lets go. Can't wait to run with ya.

fabiodriven- Sweet, I'm happy you have some interest in joining us.

The track will be ready to ride on as soon as its plowed. It only takes about 1 hour to cut the track in but it takes about 2 hours to grow the balls big enough to be the first one on the lake with a 6000 lb truck. You should see us on our first couple laps plowing. Windows all the way down, Doors open and a long toe rope being dragged behind us (lol). The first couple laps in the truck will most likely be faster than any lap I turn on my trike all winter.

badasskfx- The ice is going to be perfect. The area I plowed for parking had no slush at all. I have Friday off of work so I will be plowing the track. With the cold temps slush will not be a issue.

DeePa- I am running a holeshot front tire. I think it will work good. I will know more after sunday.

ripper i just priced a new add actuator for a customer and full retail was $253
so call me tomorrow and i can maybe get you one for around $175 or so new.
i havent heard from that other guy yet. i will need you vin for the exact price!

Looks like you guys will have a good ride, ive been on the fence about making the trip, snow fall ruins that shot since i will have to be plowing.

I would recomend lots of face protection, lots of ice = lots of cold air, the wind chill on those Rs will probably be like - 80 :lol:

Wow, what a day. Our 3 to 6 inches turned into 12+. I started plowing at 8 am and did not get out of the truck untill 5 pm. It was snowing so hard I could not keep up with it. I never even got a chance to unload the trike.

We did have 4 crazy fools out there riding all day (these guys were nuts). They started at 9am and were still riding when I left at 5pm.

only took a few pics (not so great). here they are.

Yeah, by the time it was all said and done, our 2-4 inches turned into 12+! I got up in the morning and it just wasn't the day to be traveling. I got out on the local pond to try out my studs. Turns out I have too many in the rear. Glad I found out before I drove all the way up. See you guys on the next one hopefully.

Nobody builds tracks like eddie. What other track will support 2 wide racing all day long. Badass and myself must of ran 18 laps in a row side by side last week with the advantage going to nobody. This little bullring of a race track is not for everybody. Rubbin is Racing, cya guys on Sunday.

Great day of riding guys. The track did have a ton of grip and Steve on his yellow quad had even more than the rest of us. He was simply pulling away from everybody. No chance on even keeping up to him never mind getting into a position to pass. Great job Steve.

Saturday is the ice festival with sled drags. Not sure what you guys want to do. I'm pretty sure there will be a warden with a noise reader for the noise complaints on the lake recently. I dont think they would tell us to leave during the festival but maybe a warning for the next weekend. I would rather do it Saturday because of the large group of people that might find some interest in what we do. Next year I have some bigger plans with the little BULLRING ICE TRACK and want to get the word out.

I must apologise for my absence. This is the first year in a long time we've gotten as much snow as we have and I've been out every weekend on my sled. I spent alot of time and money getting my trike ready for the ice, but when the snow is on the ground and it's 40 degrees out, it's tough to resist. There is a chance I could make it up for this Saterday, but I have to check my schedule. I have something I have to do this weekend, but I'm not sure if it's on Saterday or Sunday. I will find out. Can't make any promises yet...

Just saw this bill is coming up for proposal.....

House bill 546
On Wednesday Feb 11th at 10am in the Legislation Building Concord NH Room 203 In short this bill is in regards to allowing out of state ATV owners the ability to Register their ATV for 3 days instead of having to pay for the full year. That way if someone wants to come to NH to ride for a weekend they will be able to do so.


Sorry Guys - ice racing just doesnt seem to interest me and putting studs on even less. Id rather glide around the trails and hits bumps, jumps and such.

I just returned from the gagage, I was crying my eyes out thinking about how i'm going to have to take most off the parts off the 3 wheeler to get the 4 wheeler running. I wish I had trike guys in my area. :cry:

The track is almost as good as it can get. the water froze solid leaving it perfect for riding. It was so smooth I had to do a gear change. the track is faster than it has been.

I really messed up telling everyone to go trail riding. best conditions of the year.

hey guys, I'm thinking this weekend I would like to try somewhere different to run. This part of the lake has had riding every weekend since the middle of jan and the complaits are building up. The cops have come just to check out what we are doing and the game warden has been there also. I have a feelling they are going to find away to shut some of us down. This can be done by anyone of us using a aftermarket exhaust with a db reading of above 96 I believe. The warden and the police don't have a problem with us at all and really think its great that we are in a little area and not screaming across the lake at 70 mph. But when they get complaints they have to do anything they can to fix the problem (straight out of there mouth) and give fines for illegal activity.

Most of you are aware that my goal here is to start a ice racing series. Something that I have been looking into for years now. Next year we will be running with the NEIRA . I have had contact with them about it and they would love to have us. The first year we will be using there second track to play around on and then during there intermission we will have a 10 lap feature event in front of the crowd.

So what do you guys want to do this weekend.

I have contacted the guys over in ME and they are running on Sunday and we are invited. I have never been there and have no idea what kind of shape there track is in or how big it is. all I know is there is a road coarse and a oval.

Or

I can contact the NEIRA and we can run the 1/4 mile oval track to get a jump on next year. There is a membership fee but I might be able to get us out of that.

dirtcrasher hooked me up with a random front hub and modded it to fit the 10 inch rim, then spaced it over a bit so it fit decent. the tire isnt centered 100%, off by 1/8-1/4 of an inch or so, but i didnt have to modify the caliper so it worked out well...

Tire is mounted, gonna take it to a shop to get the bead seated...

Do you think ill have time to stud it in Maine? Dont want to screw it up...

DeePa - I have a good stud pattern that works well with front trikes tires. I don't mind helping you stud them also. If you decide to do it yourself remember to put heavy pressure on the screw and drill it in slow. Don't just put them in as fast as you can. If you send me a pic of the tire i might be able to mod the pic to show you a good pattern. Did you already stud the rears.

If you are coming from biddeford, then take Rt111 to Rt 35. Follow Rt 35 about......6-7 miles until you reach Rt. 5. Turn left onto Rt. 5 (north). Follow Rt.5 about......5-6 miles and you'll merge w/ Rt 202. Bear left onto Rt.202 and Rt.5 for about a mile and you'll see Jellerson Rd on the left. Go about 150' and there is a plowed path beside a driveway that goes into the woods. I believe its the 2nd driveway on the left......

Now on with the great ride today in Waterboro. 17 quads and 1 trike runnin a 1/4 mile tt coarse and then a 1/8 mile tt coarse after the 1st track started showing signs of to much riding. These guys were really fast and Know how to ride. I want to thank you guys for the invite up to your track and hope we can continue riding together in the future. We have a great start to something good in the future. Keep us updated here to what you have for riding the rest of the winter. Sorry about the one guy that was a fool. This is not the way we do it and he will not be asked to come back.

just seeing how much intrest there is maybe we could all get together and trailer down . its in e.lempster nh just north of keen about 2hrs from sanford,and about hour & half from milton
Its a pretty cool set up they have,the flat track is the same size as eddies track maybe a bit longer but they run 4 wide almost the whole race and the corners are banked this year. they run saturday nights under the lights racing starts at 6.
they got 2 series this year----the flat track series 250cc-400cc and 400cc & above class-(race for points )
and a tt track with the same classes (but this series pay out money and points.)
the tt series starts may 9th and the flat track starts may 23rd.
you dont need to worry about running a full flat track houser set up just normal tires work just fine.you do need nerf bars, teather cord and a chest protector though
