Yamaha 225dx Throttle help

Would a throttle assembly and cable from an '83 ytm200 work on an '84 ytm225dx?? Anyone??

Alright cool, just asking for any opinions before I buy one. I'm hoping it will fit cause i can buy a throttle from a 200 for 10 bucks, or one from a 225 for 40 bucks, and the 200 is even in better shape.:lol: They look to be about the same in pictures, so hopefully the 200 works out.

think the 200 and the 225 parts are the same- at least that is what my
shop manual says
