I don't think it is a Klemm Research pipe. Mine was in sections from the head to the stinger. It had no stamped pieces at the head pipe.

it seems to make better power than my dg so i'm gonna clean this baby up and run it on my new motor.

Looks similar to my CRF. Gimme a holler if you wanna get rid of that puppy.

Actually, they don't look so similar after looking again.

Took a look at my old Bassani...they look pretty close. I though it looked similier to my Jemco with the exception of the front part of the head pipe!

Sorry, man. That CRF has reached it's final destination.

I've got a DG for a spare, I have a feeling they're a downgrade from just about everything.

I like the "fat" and "smooth" appearance of the DG... is the performance difference really noticable?

You sorry dawg!!

If the Bassani is that much better of a pipe, it shouldn't be too hard to cut/etc... another silencer to work on it. I've got an Answer oval off of an '86 250R cut and rewelded to fit my stock pipe or a DG.

But either way, don't sweat the DG thing man. I need swingarm bearings and a chain/rear sprocket worse than I needed a pipe right now. Well....for that matter I need to freshen my top-end more than I *need* a pipe, too. That'll improve mine more than anything else at this point(I'm betting I have less than 150lbs. of compression at the moment)......so no prob. You just helped me decide to do what I NEED to do first.

I'm sure the Bassani's outta my price range anyway.:beer

cool, i was hoping you wouldn't be to sad!!!! we'll it won't be going anywhere soon, and i can't spend anymore money getting the bassani fixed right away, even though it does make a noticable diff in power. the dg setup just fits so well, so i wil;l run it for a while.
