Okay so I have had a 1982 Honda Big Red for a while and I have been running it stock since Ihave bought it. So I am thinking of dragging it back out from the shed at the cabin and then brining it home. I needs new rings I know that for sure.
I was thinking for a little re-haul (not restoring)
Pipe of some sort (dg?),
Change Oils,
Rebuild engine while new rings are installed,
a good cleaning,
since its been in a shed sitting since October, will possibly need a carb cleaning right? It should start, enclosed, unheadted garage, been -50 here with the wind but no wind in my area, i think if the electric start wont work (left battery in it) then I will either take the battery in and charge it in some heat. Or decompress it and pull the rope. I also forgot to turn off the gas before I stored it. its been sitting as said before, since October. It will probably run right?

You should be fine just pulling the rope, it shouldn't take to many pulls as long as you use the choke. It might need the carb cleaned, I would try starting it without the cleaning, but if it dosen't start, I would clean the carb.

Its a honda, it will run. Full choke and pull on the rope. If its that cold, a couple teaspoons of gas under the spark plug should speed up the process and probably save your arm some pulling.
