tri-z base gasket interchange?

Z guys,
wondering if anything else replaces the stock base gasket on 85 tri-z (eg. yz250?)

Yes, many early yz's are the same. 83 through at least mid 80's. Thats why tri-z base gaskets have the small tabs near water pump. The p/v yz cyl has a cast in housing to contain the governor arm. They are commonly trimmed for use with tri-z.
