Q's on switching from f-track tank to stock-85R

Was wondering if the radiator brackets need to be put back to stock also when switching from a flat track tank back to a stock unit. Was just wondering if I should switch to a stock capacity tank just for Pennsyltucky 09 so I dont have to re-fuel as often. If it's too much hassle though I will just keep the flat tank on and carry some 2-liter bottles of fuel in a backpack.

yes, the radiators will hit the top of the gas tank
