My manual says I'm supposed to have 21 on my 83 200x. I found I have 18 larger ones on both top and bottom. I say larger because my 85 110 had 21 bearings but they were the size of BB's. Is 18 larger ones right?

I can't remember for sure but 18 or 19 larger ones sounds right. If they fit correctly then they will be OK.

My 350X had 18 and the manual said 18. I know they all JUST fit around the race so it could not have needed any more. Do yours JUST fit if you stick them all on the race with grease? If there is room for more then you are probably missing some.

I sure wish I would have just got the taper bearing kit from DennisKirk for thirty-something dollars. That will be a project for the future.
