:welcome:. I need help to get my 84' 250cc Honda Big Red to start. I dont know whats wrong with it but i need help.

: Can i start it without having to pull start and if so how?

: It will kind of start but then it just dies and its only worked once.

: Any info will help :)

: Its hard to start someone has pulled their arm out of place tryin to pull start it.

: I also need new leg guards on it, the plastic has broken and I dont want my pants to get caught in the back wheels. :p

( I will be on every day to check for posts. If you have info please share it. :)

clean the carb out till you can eat off it, all jets cleaned, put a new plug in it, put new gas in it, check its getting spark, find a hill have some one push you put it in gear it it should fire up

Has it been sitting a while with gas in it? I would say follow Daniel's advice above. You need to have gas, spark and air for any engine to work.

If it is an 84 BR it is not a 250. 250 BRs did not show up until 85. Also it should have electric start.

it's probebly a 200es. does it have a shaft drive or a chain?
chain means 200e shaft means 200es. es has reverse e does not.
