'84 ATC 70, converted to a 4 wheeler. The only one I've seen so far. Bought this back in November for $300. Runs OK. Won't idle though, guess I'll have to pull the carb and clean it out.

yeah, some company out in cali made kits for them and I also saw one for the atc250R and the big red atc 250ES as well as the atc70. The kits were pretty neat but the ones for the 250R and the 250ES didin't look as well as the trx250R and the trx250SX did from the factory. Yhe 70 kit retaild for around $299.00 and the bigger suspended kits were more expensive, around $1900.00 I think for the 250R and 250ES. I remember seeing them in Dirt Wheels and in 3Wheeling Magazine. I was alot younger then than I am now ... Ever think back to the early and late 80's and think about how you miss the way things used to be then snap back to reality and go ... Man where did I screw up at ? I sure do !

I was looking for a Foutrax 70 on craigslist and that turned up. When I went to look at it, I didn't even realize what it was until I saw the sticker that said "1984 ATC70". I was like WTF? The guy selling it just shrugged his shoulders and said "don't ask me, I haven't had it that long".

Yeah, got it back in November for $300. I was seriously thinking about putting an 88cc big bore kit on it, or even better, one of those Chinese pitbike engines, like 160cc's or better. But I just bought a 250SX, so I'm gonna dump my money into that. Besides, I just taught my 6 year old daughter how to ride it last weekend and I kinda told her that it could be hers, so I guess I kinda gotta keep it stock, or at least close to stock.
