86 250R rear master cylinder

ok,i have bought 2 different master cylinder's for the rear brake. I have bleed them (or at least the shop that is putting it back together has) its just not building up any preasure at all.
Has anyone ever rebuilt one of these master cylinders?? Or do you think one off a newer motorcycle or 4 wheeler would work with some mods to the mounting system?

honda cb900c custom motorcycle is the same as the 350x,maybe the 250r too

Rebuild kit for those is only like 25 bucks and too easy to do. Suzuki z400 rear master is a direct bolt on.
