Mods on 250r?

I have been looking around at all the things that can be done on a trike. Like exahust, carb, sprockets, etc... My question is what is the best combination of all these to get more power on a 81 250r?

Pipe, properly jetted 34mm carb, reeds, open element airfilter with an outerwear & a 300r or 360 Mugen kit if you can find em' - if not, port and polish what you have and run a bigger piston.

Make sure your coil is in good working condition, proper spark plug gapped correctly and find and stick to a oil/gas mixture that works for your trike. Also, run good gear oil and make sure your clutch is in good condition because no matter what power your engine makes - it's useless if it isnt getting to the ground.

Sprockets/gear ratio depends on what you want - top end, low end or in between.
