I got tired of my battery crapping out on cold days after turning over a couple of times, and also after using the winch a lot for my plow, so I installed an automotive battery instead. I cleaned the "trunk" out and a 26 series top post battery fits in perfectly with the front part of the trunk moved forward a bit. I extended the cables and installed a quick disconnect for when it sits long term. Turns over like crazy now! The trunk stuff I just moved into a nylon pack that I bungee to the rack. The bigger battery is heavier, but not too terribly much considering I removed the smaller one also.

Anyway, just thought I'd post another idea if anyone was interested.

I have done that to 5 other big reds that I have owned. I was tired of spending 50-60 for a battery each year or so. So I added length to the stock leads all the way to the truck and cut 2 small holes so they could make it thru and silconed it up. I lefted extra wire so you could use til the rack some. I then put a 15-20$ lawn tractor battery in the lower part of the truck and drilled a couple small holes for zip ties to hold it still. It works like a champ and has more power to run accessories.
