This thread is for people to show off their old, beat up trikes which run and are still driven. I'll start with my only trike, a '85 200m. It has a 200e motor, gold painted rear rims, a 200e headlight mount welded on, sheet metal patched fenders, ducktape on the seat, and a few other things. Here are some pics:

Hmmm, cool thread. I dont have this trike any more(may it rest in pieces), but it was my beater and looked like one. It was an 84 200M with some huge trail wolf rear tires. I never ran them with air. :w00t:

Here is my contribution, it still runs but have stolen some part from it for my other 200E.
Smells really funny on start up and has very bad idle so will tear out the engine and rebuild that before i get it up and running again.

I have Yamaha 660 4x4, Yamaha 350 4x4, Suzuki 250 4x2 and a 1985 Honda 250 ES "Big Red" 3x2.
By far the Big Red is most fun! I don't hardly ride any of the others. I am currently trying to find a 350x or a Honda Odssey/Pilot to buy.

Ahh the beaters. I had a 200m that would have went great in this thread. Alas I sold it and dont have any pics.
heres the 225dx I had for short while. Cost me 150 bucks. But had to do too much work to it in the short while I had it. Sold it for 300 I think maybe 2 weeks later. I just remember breaking even on the deal and was happy enough with that. Did swap the nice front fender off it onto my ytm200 and put the cracked one on this bike before selling it tho. So that was good.

I guess you have never heard of the Honda 250 es Christmas Edition? It was red and blue with a black seat. Extremely rare stuff here! :naughty:

those look pretty nice compared to what we rode as kids, theres no tools or any coke bottles full of gas to constantly fix stuff with even attached.

Very cool idea for a thread, here's my beater 250SX i have about 325.00 into it. It runs great, starts everytime i want to ride (sometimes with a plug that was inside at room temp) and its never left me sitting anywhere except when i was stuck in the snow. Keep the pics coming guys. I'll get some mud shots of mine when it warms up a little, TC...
The pics are from when i picked it up and after the 200x front end, and some decent plastics. I still need to stick the bars i have laying around on it since the originals look like a pretzel.

some of those bikes are too clean to be considered beaters, but here is my kids 110cc

bought it for $400, needed rear tires and a good carb/tank cleaning, but otherwise ran great till I bottomed out on a rock in the back yard, then was "forced" to put a cobra pipe on it:naughty:

My 200 before I took it apart. It's not a shaft drive, like it says.
