Okay im debating about what color to go on my Z.
I have a yellow frame and i'd like to keep it yellow, just so i dont have to remove every part.
1st of all i want to put on a 250r Front fender, which means red, white, or black.
2nd i want to keep the frame yellow, rad shrouds yellow, yellow light, yellow fork boots too.
Heres the thing, im thinking about going Black rear/front, keep the rest yellow. have a nice lookin z thats all black with yellow accents.
But i dont think i've ever seen an all white z with yellow.
Like a white z rear fender, white r front, yellow or white airbox cover, then either a yellow or white seat?
should i go for a SEMI original black with yellow accents.
or an all original white with yellow?
paintin the frames outof the question cause its too much work for a rider:crazy:

any one have any pics:pics: :pics: :D

I know you have seen this picture of my old one.It has an aluminum colored frame. So pretty much any color will work... You are kinda stuck without too many options in color with a yellow frame.Black, yellow, and maybe blue plastic on a yellow frame. You could put white. But that would look horrible in my eyes... Just a thought.

There's a few threads on this already,, with some cool photoshopped pics. try doing a search. I like the scheme I did my old triz.. mostly black with yellow accents. whetever you do... DON'T PAINT THE PLASTICS!!!

there might also be a few sets left of the colored order corey sprock did from maier...(Which reminds me... you guys better post pics of those! I think I only seen one so far!!!) the skies the limit now!

Well I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Black plastics front rear air box and seat.
yellow shrouds headlight frame.
and ya i wasn't planning on painting the plastics. Ive been sanding off all the old paint off of them during my construction class in school. Then I'm going to sand it with higher grit and polish the scratches out (on the shrouds and headlight)
I wanna go 85.5 but, that requires painting the frame which is a big P.I.T.A

Painting a frame is easy!!! A triz can come apart in lkess then a half hour. Then you can check all parts...Clean,repair and replace whats needed...

Hey, it's your thang , so do what you wanna do... but you could look around awhile a different pic. Mostly black even new just doesn't stand out much and the tires and the air box is already black as well. That's a lot of work to find you may ought to have gone with a different color. The yellow frame is what you have to work from. Even a good quilt has a good color pattern. That may end up been too much black. IF, you go with the black, then strip the frame and get it painted or dipped in black as well.

only a thought.

Forgive me for breaking in, but who owns the Blue Tri-z and where is he from. That's one of the best blue one I have seen. And I don't think I have seen that tire pattern before.
Is it street legal with all the lights on the rear?
Thanks
