are there any tricks to cleaning out a rear coolant jug (other then just buying a new one)

mine is pretty dirty inside and out and its hard to see the coolant levels.

take it off and put it in a dish washer it shoudl help quite a bit

its pretty yellow. if i cant get it clean this weekend ..im just gonna chuck it..lol
