Yes, just like any large diameter threaded part - try this:
Get a good sharp chisel and a 2lb hammer. Tap it so it's got itself settled in the aluminum cap. You want to be at the furthest point outwards to get the most leverage! Then whack it in the loosening direction and it will crack loose an a couple of tries. If you find you are shearing the aluminum, your angle needs to be sharper and just move to another place on the cap and try again.
Those diff caps can be a PITA but I've had at least 3 I had to deal with this way and each time it worked with no heat......
As a last resort, sometimes I VERY VERY carefully grind off the entire cap until I can see a very thin amount of material left and at this point, you can slot it and back it out with nearly anything.....
But, you have top have a very steady hand and be very good with a hand held right angle grinder to do the above suggestion.
BTW - WELCOME TO 3WW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you dont wanan use the chisel method on this one the outer edges fo them ar everry brittle and weak. if it is not striped on the cap use a 17mm wrench and make shur eits on ther egood so it doesnt strip out. and if its striped use a small pipe wrench on the part where you put the wrench on it.
