Has anyone ever tried making a 3 wheel drive?
I was thinking something like a Big Red with a 50/90/110 so motor on the front. Second throttle could go on left with a pin to hold in place when not in use.
How can I mount a sprocket on front axle?
I know the speed would not be the same as the rear tires under throttle but in the mud it shouldn't matter because it could slip. Additional throttle also seems like it would make the front steering much more responsive in mud or on ice.
The only thing is the front motors gear case would turn a lot in neutral when not in use.Would that be a problem?
Could you imagine how that baby would pull with three 25-12 Vampires on it?
Old Rokon Trialblazers were 2 wheel drive motorcycles and those babies would go any where.
Gimme some input. I have a perfect Big Red donor waiting on mods.
Hook a honkey up. Lets hear it.
Thanks,
JT
