Bought a new aftermarket (PMR) skid plate. The old one was destroyed. The new one is thicker and need some longer bolts. Been having a hard time finding them, as the pitch is weird.Thanxs Beets

I just happen to buy that same skid plate myself. However, I did not try and put it on yet. Wondering if I will have the same problem. If you happen to find the bolts you are looking for, give me a shout and I'll be sure to get the same ones. Unless of course, I find them first and then I'll let you know. By the way, where are you in N.W.Ind? I'm about 20 minutes outside of Chgo.

Those are a fine pitch metric thread. not sure on the exact size of the bolts,, but the pitch should be .125....

Thanxs Chris, I've have couple meteric bolt pitches, but that one.I need a pitch gauge. I guess they changed that bolt to keep for mixing it up with something else? Looked around, only found it in shorter lengths.

LOL.. I may have misinformed you. I have homemade mounts on my swinger and I use that aftermarket skid. SO mine isn't exactly the same as yours.(the holes aren't threaded, I just use a nut and bolt) But I believe all the OE nuts and bolts are fine pitch.

Went to Honda and they have longer bolts, but the pitch is different. I'm about to drill it all the way thru and use locking nuts.
