Should only be about 30-40 bucks from your shop. the tools you'll need to buy will cost more I would think....

a honign tool and a borign bar are diferent tools ther ebuddy and if you try to hone it to an oversize youll wear otut the stones before you ever get it and not to menton havign ti perfectly round and square is gonanbe next to impossible.

It's 35 bucks at winners cycle right there off of millerville in baton rouge. 45 if you don't buy the piston from them. It's only 3 bucks or sofor a hone last time I went in there.

yeah i plenty of spare cylinders.
Depends how much bigger you need to go- you at least need a set of T guages's a micrometer and a ridged hone, iv oversize cylinders to the next size no problem, you need at least a varsol tank (honing tank with oil in preferably) and when i mean rigid hone, i mean the real sunnen deal not them crap ass de-glazer things with the springs, or a ball hone, and it takes time and practice to do it, a boring bar is nice, 1-2-3 cuts and a final hone to fit the piston, takes alot of work and money, your better off to send it to a shop.

A honing tool and a boring bar are altered tools that ebuddy and if you try to hone it to an oversize you'll wear out the stones before you ever get it and not to mention having it perfectly round and square is to be next to impossible.

He brought up 2 others that are 5 and 7 years old. It's funny that they are all about honing and shanefoster has a link for a hone in his signature. He's a spammer.
