The choke lever on my 85 big red was broken where it connects to the cable on the handlebars. Is it possible to just replace the little lever or does the whole starter switch housing need to be replaced? Thanks.

I'm guessing you have to buy a new switch, but ask the honda dealer what comes with the cable, maybe the plastic doo-dad comes with the cable? I like the 84 version better, single lever you pull on the dash. Don't know why they went to the handlebar switch.

Taiser,
Ya I have seen alot of these with the cchoke lever broken. Looks like you have a nice 85. I am looking for an 87 Big Red. I just missed one last month on Craigslist in Houston, Texas. It was only on for one day. Maybe next time.
Thanks, Mike

Thanks...I was lucky, belonged to an old dude and he never used it. I'd kill for an 87 but around here, no such luck. I was lucky to get what I got in mint shape. Seen a few 86's around but they are beat to sh!t up here. Took me about 8 years to find this one in the shape I wanted...now gotta find that 350x! :D
