I am going to pick up a 1983/84 Honda QR50 in a few hours. Anyone here have one. Don't seem to be many around. They were intersting bikes. It ws an auto 49cc 2-stroke.Also the kicker is on the left side. But it is shaft drive. I'm going to get it and fix it up a lttle. doesnt need much just sitting so it needs a carb cleaning etc. Thinking about using it very slightly as a pit cruiser bike now and again when me and the boys get bored
The bike is a buddys of mine that he and I grew up riding around his garden . Right from me being about 6 years old first toppling over the bike when I was very jelous till about the time I was 12 or 13 I always tried to get it. Well needless to say I forgot about it but last night he called me up asking for trike parts and I rembered the bike. I aske him about it and he said 50 bucks its yours. Needless to say I jumped on the offer and hopefully getting it now soon.
Here ar some pics of what it looks like. Sorry no pics of it yet.Maybe tommorow.

Yeah. I picked it up lasat night and is currently dissambled getting cleaned up. I was doing some research on it and aparently they wernT imported to the US?? Only Canada and somewhere else. Thats the point they made that it was surprising they wern't sent to the states as thier competition for the pw50.

The steel wheels and laydown 2 stroke engine are so much in the pw style.I bet there was some type of scooter that used the same if not similar engine.Great find.

bandito90 , after doing some research you are right. The motor along with the rest of the drive train is from a honda nc50 express scooter. They interchange. Got the bike stripped right down seeing if it needs anything. So far juat a cleaning.
