well i finally stepped up to the big league boys! i got me a 250r that i always dreamed of having since i was a wee lad watching my neighbor on his wheeling up and down the street for days, while i was riding my 110.. its not the best but it runs good, has a 2nd set of wheels and tires and a 2nd bottom end engine, it needs swingarm bearings on teh brake side, the guys said he changed the chain side.. iw ill just get both and change them both i think.. anyhow picked it up for 500$

here it is

good deal! first things first ditch those heavy azz rear tires, I have an air fooler that had those tires on it and it severly dragged the motor down.

You shoulda waited it out and found a Liquid R - from what I can gather the 85-86 R's make about 40 more horsepower then the older models, can do 140MPH and with proper gearing can time travel.

One guy here jumped over the moon on his, when he landed back on earth his suspension still didn't bottom out.

Congrats on the airfooler though. Looks like it could be a good runner!

Looks to be a fairly nice R. Listen to Syko about the tires. Now you need to head to airfoolers.com

The tire you can get at Toms also, stop by there on the way out here. My friend says it was 65$ for the one he bought. I wouldnt have anything for the silencer though. Are you looking for a core or just packing?

mines hollow so the stuff that goes inside.. maybe i will try to put some conduit in there with holes drilled in it and fibreglass insulation around it. that might work.
