I am looking into picking up this atc. Its a 1983 110. I will try to include a picture. It is in excellent physical condition. They were asking $700, They said they will take $500. Is this a decent price for one of these in good condition? Also, Ive owned a couple older hondas and it seems as though the engines are just plain noisy. I went and looked at this atc and it starts on first pull, idles fine once it warms up and seems to have excellent power. But the engine noise is noticeable. No obvious nocks, ticks or rattles or anything of the sort that would pinpoint a problem. It just seems to make a lot of motor noise while running. Most noticeable at low rpm, such as idle. Not as noticeable at higher rpm. Anybody think this could be a problem? Or is it just the way they are? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Looks to be in great shape, for 500 bucks I'd pick it up. The noise could be a valve tick, may just need adjusted.

for 500 sounds like a good deal. The loud noise also can come from a lose timing chain. the adjuster is under a cap, under the motor.

How would you go about adjusting the timing chain and valves? I know absolutely nothing about these motors. Thanks

Not too hard to adjust either. Download the manual here:
