I noticed a few days ago that the rear sproket on my '85 200m is wore and should be replaced. I was wondering how much longer will the one I have will last (see pics). I was also wondering where I can get a cheap replacement rear sprocket and chain, I already have a good front sprocket. The cheapest I have found is $40.00 US from MFG Suppy.

I bought that same rear sprocket from that place last summer,...for my 200m,..I did not like it,..it was not worth the $40,...THE ORIGINAL SPROCKET had rubber grommets in the bolt holes,...helped to "give" and "take" a bit of chain tension,...when I replaced it it was a real; "jerky" take off and noisey stop,...I don't know,...but I was not happy with my $40 p/ shipping purchase,...I suggest finding a ol' used one with out the "hook tooth" wear,...good luck.....Jared200x

Sorry,...forgot to mention ....the new replacement sprocket we are talking about DID NOT have the rubber grommet holes,...holes only for the bolts, and realy tight...I tried to rework it to accomodate the rubber grommets,...could not be done.....

This is the picture that MFG Supply shows for their sprocket. It appears to have the rubber gromets, but that may not be a picture of the exact sprocket they sell.
