RAGDOLL MX

havent been on here in a while, all my spare time has been spent getting 2 of my 70's completly built...so everynight i spend time out in the garage. here are just a few pics of the build.
new plastics, 88 kits with race head and cam, complete powder coated frame, forks, motor, douglas wheels, 4 lug hubs, holeshot carlisle tires. all the painted parts iam waiting on will be painted with lamborghini lime green, and the other one is painted with the lambo orange. doing two builds at once, so time, money and parts have been keeping me pretty dam busy.
so here is an update.

one thing I noteced was if your not running a high compression piston or big bore setup the larger carb may be more of a problem than a gain. I'm not sure your expertiese, but these carbs do require jetting and tuning to perform correctly. So look for a source for for jets for that carb and see if you can find some. if it's a honda knock-off ti may actually use the factory jets. Then the only issue you have is trying to locate the correct sizes you need and from what year trikes.
looks good though man!! keep up thee awesome work!!

its a big bore kit alright, its the trail bikes 88kit, with race cam and head, with the 20mm carb. and as far as the jetting, the jets you get with that kit are garbage, so i have already replaced them and went with better jets. but good looking out!:w00t:
as far as the lambo pics, my brother works at Lamborghini of Las Vegas as the service manager, so i have plenty of pics, ill rifle through my collection and shoot them to ya.

Looks great! ALMOST makes me wanna work on mine but it's still friggen cold, muddy and I'm trying my hardest NOT to spend any $$ :(
I'd imagine the open K+N type filter would be the biggest variable in tuning the carbs. If everything else is fresh, you'll get it!!

they are douglas wheels, the rears are a 4/110 with a 2/4 offset, and yes its powder coat, and it is very very tough, and hold up to mounting, I used a carbon fiber mount tool. I got the rims through advantage with the tires, they usually go for about 270 for the set of 3.

looks pretty cool, would be neat to take the honda number plate off and fab up a body color plate to fit in there and then put the Lambo plate on that... other than that little idea, I wouldnt change anything... NICE BIKE!
