Opinions on seat......

I read the new CEET cover thread, and now I think I am up in the air about the seat on my new build.....

Was thinking of leaving the stock blue seat on it to let it stand out, and considered doing black to calm the trike down some but now I am considering leaving the red tank and shrouds and doing a red seat ......need some opinions....

^ Then you may think you have too much red??

Maybe with a black tank?

The other thing is does the red match? Sometimes I feel FORCED to break up colors because none of the manufacturers seem to be able to match shades.

Just some stuff to ponder :D

I think the red seat cover would look pretty sick on there.

Edit: If thats an OEM cover on yours right now though, I think itd be too nice to tear off, Id sell it and find another pan and foam to put a cover on.

I agree with DC about the red, as long as it is the same red then go with it otherwise something else would be better (i'm thinking black if the red doesn't match).

I wouldn't mind the red...Here's an idea, take the seat off of that big ole "chicken wing" and set it on top of your rear fenders, to get an idea on what a black seat would look like.. Just a thought

Why don't you run a red/ grey seat? Red sides and grey back and seat top? Try to blend the colors all together if you are going to mix and match the fenders.

I am going to keep the blue seat intact, I have a spare 86 seat pan and foam to work with, and a spare 85 pan, so I think I am going to see if they can send a sample of the red, but I will prob just have the 86 seat done in the red and have a black one done too, and just rotate them around between the two R's, but I think the RED one will wind up here......

Use your imagination and block out the rear fenders, and there you go, silver frame red tank and red seat!!!! Thanks for the frame and the pic Todd!!!!

I change my vote. the more i look at it, the more i want the blue seat, red tank and silver everything else. the red seat looks nice to but i think how you have it in your first pic is catsass
