help what do i need for a top end job

Hey i need to do a top end job on my 82 R and i was wondering wut all i needed for a top end job and if u think i could do it wit a owners manual. ANd help from u guyz

probaly just a piston, rings, gaskets, and possibly a hone or bore job(machine shop work).. why do you thk you need to rebuild?

Its just not doin good in high rpms

I also need to know this. I wanted to have a valve job done before I put my motor back together. Do I need anything other than valve seals? And how much should it cost?

Valve job should be around $10-20.....I just got mine done and bored too ($45) DEFINATELY BUY NEW VALVE SEALS!!! they are around $12 and can save you having to re-tear apart your engine.....its like if you have it apart you always change your rings!!! but you SHOULDNT need anything else.......besides a gasket kit of course :)
