OK, I know you guys can tell me, what should I look for when I look at a 200x I'm thinking of buying, I do know the pipe off the head has a crack in it, is it a pain to get it off?, it's a '85, I was told in great condition, thanks. nybronc

they can be a pain if its rusted just hope the stud doesnt break off

look for a crack on the front of the frame right above the engine mounts other than that i donno much to go wrong with the 83-85x's

just to let you know

85 has blue seat forkboots and rear shock spring
84 black seat black fookboots and red spring
83 black seat black forkboots and red spring but has a crazy looking tubular swingarm

Was the '86 a better year, I heard there were changes made?

86 and 87 are better all around i think but they are a bit hard to find and pricey

whats a good 85 worth, I do know there are no decals, prob. new plastic, and the crack in the pipe,.

without pics i donno...... its only worth what you are willing to pay i peronally wouldnt pay more that 1200 for a 83-85 in nearly mint condition but im not a x fan really

7-800 hundred sound OK?, if its nice but not mint?, I haven't had a Honda before, I have a 225 shaft Yamaha.

doesnt sound bad but like i said its only worth what u wanna give for it

my225dx will burn my 200 but i like to ride the x in trails its a very fun trike the snap of the x kinda suprised me

I thought the Honda would be faster than the 225?, from the way people talk I just figured the Honda was faster!

lol i dont think its that slow but they are not at all speed machines they are very snappy in trails and out of corners it all depends on where u ride
