find a megaphone off of an aftermarket exhaust and just run that, my 350x was insanely loud, too loud for me

Cut it right off at the head and egg the hole out as much as possible.

Are you a complete and total moron? Why would you want to make your machine loud? Do you realize that all you do, is piss people off when they hear a loud bike, trike, or quad? This is why there is so many anti-orv people trying to shut us down. It isn't us having fun that makes them call the cops, it is the friggin noise from the machines, and YOU want to make yours loud! It is idiots like you that ruin our sport for all of us. Loud is not power, loud is for ignorant little kids that don't know any better. You should be banned from this site for actions detrimental to ORV use.

Definitely I'm the same way with loud crap on public trails I think it's a joke, that's why I run a somewhat stock can to keep the neighbors/owners/DNR happy. In the winter when I'm rippin it on a lake the loud can goes on and BRAAAAPPP she goes. Out on a lake I could give two sh1ts how hears me. Maybe this kid runs his trike on his land??? There it shouldn't matter as long as he's not on a 1/2 acre city lot.

I wouldnt suggest cutting your pipe off if you live near anyone who will get pissed. But if you live in the sticks then chop it if you want. Just making it louder wont help a thing though. It will sound like crap, LOOSE power, and possibly warp your valves. Just buy a nice pipe so it actually does something besides make it sound like a fart can.

it is not over reacting to the situation. And for your info, all but 2 of my trikes have stock pipes. The big red has a cobra utility series and my son's 85' 200X has a supertrapp on it. I never said to ban you. The banned emoticon is for the stupid thoughts. You might want to read all of the replies, not just mine. I just spelled it out in 2nd grade language so you could understand.

cobra or dg both are louder. the best pipe i found(since there arent any made for my ride) is a dg universal $50 silencer in dennis kirk and weld it on were your old silencer used to be but its kinda overly loud we call it the shotgun
