I don't get down that way much. A few times a year though. I'm actually hitting up all the Ontario forums trying to figure out what if anything I can do about insurance in this trike hating province. Anything I've found so far is going to be about $1500/year or more. Anybody know where I can get affordable coverage?

Your asking the wrong questions if their quoting that much. Mine is with State Farm on the R's and it's something like $ 120 a year. Just go ask for off road liability for your ATV (the minimum you need), all they need is the VIN # to set it up. I just call our agent when I buy or sell a machine to add or delete it from the policy.

Really, that's awesome. When I asked for an atv policy, they asked what kind. As soon as I told them it was a 3-wheeler most places told me they wouldn't even cover it, and the places that would wanted an arm and a leg. Maybe it's just all in the wording and ommittance of certain details. Thanks. I know I'm not the only one in the province having this problem. A few of us have been bouncing it around for a while now.

Call TD Auto Insurance (1-866-834-4181) and have your VIN number ready to give them.
I just got finished insuring my 1984 250r through them, and it's costing me $174 for the year.

Forget that it's a 3 wheeler and don't tell them that it is, it's a ATV as far as there concerned. I've got my R with State Farm and it's only $110 a year.

i live in kitchener and my brother live just outside Waterloo in St. Agatha, i dont have a Trike yet but my brother and his wife got a 1983 ATC 200e, 1984 ATC 200m and a 8? 185s with no front fork and it wont start, and none of them is insured, all they do with them is use them around the farm and sometimes ride the trails in the bush on the back of the land they are renting. my first time on one was Last weekend on the 200e and now im Hooked! its fun to do but also risky ( i almost fliped it a couple of times), but now the 200 3 is running rough( it was before but my brother is working on it) and it got a gas leak from the tank. thats all im going to say for now cause this is getting long.
