I know there are plans and whatnot cuz of the crap economy to help save peoples property out there, but she's being very stubborn about it.

ok , we found a new place. Better than the last one, but then again a cardboard box would be better than the last one. even closer to the trails and all the neighbors ride.

we saw 3 or 4 quads ridin around when we went to go look at this house.

I also asked the landlord if he cared about bikes bein around or whatnot and he said as long as you dont destroy the place he doesnt give a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro.

So still plan for May 9th as the riding date. More to come as the month rolls along.

Well the house hunt isn't goin at all good maybe it'll pick up. Dunno. Right now the may 9th ride will be from my normal house. If anything changes I'll let yas know.

This weekend is gonna be beautiful. Work changed my hours yet again. Now I'm workin 6 pm to 4 am. Friday is the only day I have off so I'm doing some riding.

I'll be up early on Friday so I'm thinkin maybe 11am or noon depart time. Depends on whether or not Chris can be on time for once as he is totally unreliable.:lol:

It might be in the 70's during the day but you and I both know that it gets COLD at night up there still in early May. I can't do a overnight trip until sometime in the summer. Late June probably. Hopefully whenever you guy plan it I can make it. Camping where we hung out and ate that day would be a pretty cool spot IMHO.

I might come out on the 4x4 next time. I'd like to get it out in the woods again and see how I like it. The last time I rode it in the woods it beat the crap out of me but I realized later on that the tires were up in the 12-15psi range and that could have had a lot to do with it. If it doesn't beat me up at this upcoming ride I might use it for the overnight ride too and if I do I could probably bring your air mattress out with me.

We fit my widened 350X, my buddy's stock width '86 R, and a decent sized cooler in the back of my old Mitsubishi pickup with the gate down and that was a shortbed version.

When we do an overnight we should ride, then come back to wherever our vehicles are to collect all the crap we'll need for the overnight. That way we don't have to haul around our tents and sleeping bags all day long. By the end of the day you know that all of that stuff will be soaked anyways. :D

Actually the chain broke through the case on that thin spot. Its just an air pocket behind there. No oil leak at all. I just got back from getting a new chain and front sprocket. Should beable to ride in about 30min.. lol

I'm pretty flexible with work. I have the day off but I can just show up at work that morning if I feel like it and keep my day off for another time. The only weather forecast I trust is the one from NOAA (http://www.noaa.gov) and for Hazleton they are saying:

Friday...Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.

Friday Night...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. Lows in the mid 50s.

Saturday...Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. Highs around 70.

A week from Saturday is my b-day so that can be my b-day present to myself if we don't get out this weekend.

The weather is looking kind of crappy here today so I'll get the 4x4 ready for the ride since I can't do any of the yard work I was planning on doing. A lot of rain all week makes for some fun mud riding on Saturday! :twisted:

EDIT: BTW, my buddy Jason (with the Dodge) is out. He totaled out his King Quad last weekend. Luckily his girlfriend (who was riding it at the time) is OK but the quad took a tumble down a decent drop off and got bent up. Luckily he had full coverage on it and got a check from the ins co already. Since he's out I'm working on two or three other people.

I'll most likely be spending the entire weekend up at Al's. so plan on some night riding sometime during the weekend as well. and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.. go over your bikes in the next day or two and make sure everything is good to go. nothing ruins a ride more than getting halfway out to the middle of nowhere and have a breakdown.

If we can't find a small grill and some quads with racks to haul our trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. we'll head back to the house and order some pizzas. but I do enjoy eating out on the trail over an open flame.

Just found my grill. It is a gas not propane one. Its never been used. We will need either a grate, pan or tin foil I guess to go on top. It is a 2 burner camp stove with the flip up sides. Anyone every use one before? I will also bring some beer. Do we need anything else?

I've got an 18 pack in the cooler (well, now its a 15 pack), the wife bought 16 burgers, 2 packs of hot dogs, a bunch of buns, chips, and some bottles of water. One of the other guys is supposed to be bringing some venison steaks as well as some other stuff. I've got all 4 quads loaded up and ready to go for the AM. Its just going to be me +3. My cousin says he's got the propane grill covered but I've got my charcoal here just in case. It looks like the biggest problem is going to be hauling all this stuff around. I've got room for one cooler on the back of my 4x4 and I've got a rack bag on the front for tools and my air pump. It might hold the propane grille if we're lucky. Otherwise it'll just be a tool bag and probably a place to keep the big bag of chips. I would suggest that everyone bring back packs to carry some stuff in.

Oh, BTW. Chris called me a week or so ago, he's got something with work so he's out. I figured he was gonna post it here himself but I guess he never did. We'll be there by 9:30 at the latest.
