86 x kick starter arm

hey is there any other kick starter arms that will fit on an 86 200x with no mod or very litle mods

Nope, just an 87 upgrade that requires boring the case.

How much ya wanna pay for a shaft assembly?? Shoot me an email.....

It is absolutely essential to run the decompression cable with the small diameter kicker.

i dont really want to do any mods to it i just want to find the arm and buy one lol but i cant find anyone that is willing to sell one

^ You misunderstood me, I have 86 and 87 shafts...... I just don't part with them easily :D

the whole set up new from servicehonda.com is $89 or if you just need the arm/pedal half you can get it cheaper.

I thought someone else found a kicker that worked? Was it a Mojave? That worked on the 86 200X??

You may find it in a search, it was maybe 6 months ago.....

EDIT - Honestly, you guys should ALL buy brand new ones, grease them and be done with it. I've seen used ones on EBAY sell for more than new :rolleyes: and I bet the news ones aren't too far from being discontinued

well alls i need is the arm and i dont have the money to buy a new one for 100 bucks in lookin for a used arm so let me know if you are willin to part with it and how much

I have one worn kicker and one nice one thats getting PC'd and off to Erics350x unless he changes his mind before then.....

If so, I'll sell it to you.

I'm gonna keep my NOS ones until they get discontinued :D

Are you saying that the 86 kickers are still available from Service Honda? If so I think Ill buy a new one and throw my old one up on ebay to pay for it. :lol:

^ yes they are...... About 90$ The paint they come with is terrible but who cares, it's the SLOP we all want to be rid of :D

-000 is 86 and -670 is late 86 or 87 or about 19MM shaft size. Of course Honda doesn't explain that though..........
