I managed to find a 1983 honda 200x. Running and driving, although in need of a tune up. It's listed for $400 canadian

Now if I got this I would fix and sell my Yamaha 175 tri-moto. Would it be worth the trade? Does this trike have clutch, kickstart, electric start. rear suspension. Or any of the fun stuff?

Depends how much it's going to need. Could wind up costing you over $1200 for a basic restore. More if you want to go all out.

Things to check:
Kick starter works right
exhaust is good
Brakes all work
axle is straight
rims are striaght
etc.
Needs plastic, thats $250+ right there.
Needs seat cover, another $50
On and on.

Trikes are rare here. I paid $200 for my yami that needs to be put together, engine rebuilt, parts bought, and seat recovered.
I just want something to tear up the trails with, so plastics and seat condition aren't a huge deal to me. The full suspension and kickstart are really appealing to me.
I think I'm going to try to pick this thing up as he is taking offers on it. Then sell my yami in summer for $600

thats definately worth the asking price. and I would take that over the yamaha 175 any day. those yami 125/175s are ugly

It's about an hour and a half away from me. I gotta see if I can find a truck or something to pick it up. I'd definetly try to get it for $300 if I have to drive down there.

Dammit!

That looks like a neglected but fairly low hour machine. Original Pro-Vector tires even. I bet it will clean up nice. It's a shame somebody let it sit outside for a long time but that's nothing some TLC can't fix.

Just to point out a couple things once you look past the dirt, rust and broken plastic.

Original tires
Original handlebars
Original handlegrips
No rub marks on tank
Original grab bar and it's not all bent to hell
No dings in the rims from this angle
Footpeg on that side is straight
Looks like the rear skid plate is even still there

Hopefully I dont get in trouble for taking these from there site. But there it is. If I do get it, that hitch will be coming off, and this will be strictly a fun ripping around through the trails, taking jumps, and just an all around fun trike like I was going to build my yami for
