Hi there Guys: I've just built this tryke from all the left over parts I had laying around. It's kind of a "no budget" racing machine, I guess.

After I broke the frame on my beater, in order to still have a tryke to use, I had to take the drag bike (see avatar), that still had not seen the track, and convet it to my trails bike.

So I had a bunch of parts laying around (didn't know how many!!!)
and still no Drag Bike. So, with the help of a few members from 3WW I got an 86' frame to replace the "un-fixable, broken" frame.

So I took an 85 bottom end I had with a broken left case, grabbed a good left case that was laying around for the better part of 5 years. Split the cases checked everything out, painted the cases black, ordered a new gasket set from e-bay, replaced the bearings with some new "KOYOS" and crank seals I had sitting on the shelf, replaced the kick start assy with another from GOD knows what parts engine I have, since upon inspection I found out it was not good. Even the foot pegs are from various sets of pegs laying around. Aluminum racing pegs are in the works tho. I also got, in an engine that I bought for my 1st project, an ESR CR250 ign. system. The ign. syst. is incomplete and still needs a CDI and coil. E-bay, here we go !!!

I have a "really big" 72.5mm bore, drag ported, 89' top end with a brand new Wiseco piston sitting around. But it turns out it won't work with the short rod motor. I have a drag ported 85' cylinder but I'll have to get a new piston for it as soon as I can. I have newer motors, but want to use this as an experiment to see what comes out of it and what can it do. Also have a 18cc cool head that will be going in this bike. Still have a bunch of finishing details and "left over" parts that will go in this bike. I will keep you guys posted as it should be finish soon, rather than later. Just wanted to share this project with you guys. More pics to come

WHAT DOU YOU THINK???

I know I have not updated this in a long time, but, after a long and cheap build, some track and some very good results with a best time of 5.08 and a lot of beaten banshees, this bike is beeing converted into my woods racer.
A few weeks ago there was an event here that saw 16 3 wheelers between R's, Z's and a few Tecates. It was a woods type event and now I'm on a mission with this bike.
I never heard of the event after the next monday, boy was I pist off !!!!
I'm now waiting for some parts like a rear susp. linkage (it had a solid strut), new S.S. brake lines (it had no front brakes), new piston for a nice, unported 85 cylinder that's going on this bike, a 21cc dome for the coolhead and calipers are beeing repaired. Ohh and some new sprocket and chain kit.
That's all this bike needs to be ready to race. Beatiful it will not be, not for the time beeing.

Theres quite a bit of here, but, this is no longer a "left over" parts bike. All suspension was re-done. Front has new progressive rate springs and seals and fresh Maxima 20 weight susp. oil. A racing rear shock is beeing looked for along with a better, stock length racing swingarm. For now the rear has had the oil changed and re-sprung for my 200 pund fat trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro.

I'll keep you guys posted. And I'll try and get some pics for sure.
