Just picked up this 200E about a month ago. Old guy had it stored in his heated garage. It is in great shape and runs great. Now my questions. I went to change the oil and all I found was a nut head that says degrease? Is this the drain plug? Also I couldn't find the lever to release the seat like my big red. Any thoughts here? The air filter has to be under there and it probably is going to need serviceing. Thanks in advance. First post here.

I also have an '84 YTM200, the nut head is the oil drain, and you have to tilt the rack back, by removing the two bolts that hold it down, and then there is a release under the seat for the rear plastic and seat

Thanks man. I just went out to the garage and you would have to be blind not to see the release.

Greets. Post some pics of it when you get a chance.

OM has a Clymer manual, the E model might be in it.

O.k. along the same line is there a filter for the oil? Or is it like the BR and have a metal screen? Also the increase and decrease screw what is that for? It is located on the right side behind the foot peg. Is that for tightening the timeing chain or for the clutch? Haven't a clue. Gotta quit drinking so early in the day....:beer

the oil filter is a fine screen, but I replaced mine anyways when I got it, it was pretty inexpensive, and the adjustment (with nut and set screw) is for clutch
