Yamaha 225 carb swap

Would it be ok to use a carb off of an 86 yfm225 moto 4 on my 86 225dr. According to Bike Bandits exploded views, they are not the same carb.

I would think it would be alright, but not positive.

I think the stock carb on a 86 DR is a VM24 and the one on the yfm a 22 like the other 83-85 YTM-225DX. But I think it will fit on both boots.
