I finally got this thing together, it took me a few weeks to get the right parts but I got to take it out for a nice ride on friday and then again sunday but I took a pic of it. Its not pretty and you cant see the front fender too well but I had to wire the pieces back together, and used a soldering iron to melt it back together, then I slobbed the JB weld on it just to reinforce it all and it came out good.

But, I am having a problem with the electric start. I replaced the key switch, and when i turn it on and put it in neutral it wont light up on the dash, but I put the other switch to run and it will fire right up and run fine but all the lights, the neutral, the headlight, the tail light will flicker, and then when I rev it up, it will get brighter. Wont blow out the lights or anything but it also wont let me use my electric start.

When I was rebuilding it I checked all the connections, and used an ohm meter to make sure all the wiring was ok and it rang out fine I could find no loose or connections that came apart. And once and a Great while, the nuetral light and everything just magically comes back alive and the electric start and all the lights work just like they are supposed to, And then the next day its back to flickering and no electric start

It seems like its a lose connection but no amount of jiggling or pulling or anything seems to make it work again and I am stumped.

Thanks for looking

I forgot to mention you might notice some wires hanging down but that was before I put the new key switch in, no wires hanging anywhere anymore. Tried using an old switch but it didn't work well

I'll be keeping an eye on on this thread too. The light on my 125m only works part time too. I know I need a new battery.

So, I checked the wiring again and rattled it all around a bit, and decided I have checked the wiring and its gotta be ok so I got out the volt meter and was only getting about 3 volts from the battery, I put the charger on it and set it to start engine and sure enough the circuit is working fine.

I thought the battery was fine only because I just replaced it last year, and figured it would be still good, Apparently not because I checked the electrolyte levels and they were real low and so now its just a matter of buying the battery.
