The tri-moto 125&175 has a oil light setup on them. I don't know how they work. I don't have them on mine.

I think the light is for the temperature of the oil im looking for something to tell me howew much oil i have w/o looking at the dipstick

OK it's a 2 stroke right? Then the crankcase oil has nothing to do with anything but the gearbox. The piston is lubricated with 2 stroke oil mixed in the gas. I would say find out why the gear box is loosing oil to help you. But seized 2 stroke piston is either worn, lean or lack of oil in the gas. Hope it helped

On the tri the oil and gas doesn't have to be mixed. It has a oil tank on it.

Ooh ok, then the resevoir went dry?? I din't know it had a dipstick. The Bl;aster has a float with contacts that turn on the light when the float gets low - maybe you could incorporate a Blaster setup or just the float with wires :)

Sorry, But you can't put a a tri-z Top end on a Yamaha 200. And you can't use 250r gears in it either. Other than a few bolts nothing inner changes with the motors. I have owned all the above and know from first hand knowledge.

You could probably put a liquid cooled TriZ 2 stroke head on the air cooled 4 stroke YTM200, but youd have to throw the cam and valves away. If it works, you probably didnt need them anyways, and if you dont need the cam and valves, it should run fine without any oil.

LMFAO! That's as far as I got before I fell out my chair.... :D

That "monstrosity" (if it existed) would take custom building to a whole new level!
