http://s674.photobucket.com/albumswell i know there is not much interest in these, but I found this on craigslist, guy was asking 150 BO, told him 120 he accepted, so i drove 1.5 hrs to go get it. This is the story I got on it, Guys father found it at a tag sale for 250.00 thought the grandkids would like it. the guy selling it at the tag sale said it sat in his basement still in the box for 15 years!! so he put it together to sell at the tag sale. so this guy gets it from his father, they use it for a few months putting around a feild, he jumps off a few rocks, and it stops moving. That was it, they unfortunately stuck it under a tarp outside for almost 3 years. said he put stable in it, and had it fired up last year. No mechanical skills I guess! all it needs is a front sprocket, you can see were its missing in the pic! Too bad this guy didnt have a garage, this thing would be imaculate!

Nice! You'll need a lot of cushion in your butt for that one. I sure can feel it in my legs and back after an all day ride on one of my hardtails.

http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/vv103/aldochina/100_2062.jpgthe last pic is of the headlight that came with it, it was mounted to the front fender, but wasnt connected, not sure if it is original to the machine. I would love to get my hands on an owners manual for this! sorry about the delay, so what do you think of it? I feel like a kid on christmas, and i havnt even had it running yet! Thanks for the info on photo posting DC!

anyone know what size front sprockets these run, and where I might find one?

You'll probably have to take the whole trike to a mower shop and just trial fit till you find one.

looks like you could use go cart parts on that. That is super nice great find. I know alot of the di-hards would disagree but it looks cooler than a 70 to me

^^^I agree^^^^

Anykind of performance part you would want or need would come from the go kart guys, do a search on line for go kart engines and performance stuff, you will find a bunch of stuff!

Excellent score dude, I would have bought it too! But then again I have that three wheeled sickness thing ;)

You should check over at oldminibikes.com. Jimh has one of these. Maybe he can tell you the front sprocket size and any other info he has found out, so far.

I have one of these but its a different brand. I think its a sears. Its got the same 8hp briggs on it as yours. They run for ever. Riding mine then riding my Yama it feels like I was riding a wagon offroad and now in a caddy.

Have fun.

Disc brake set up looks like it's off an old Skidoo snomobile, cable operated disc. The throttle lever also looks skidooish as well, just reversed from a sled, sleds were a thumb push not a pull type like yours. For sitting out side it looks pretty clean! Good luck with her!

Fort Wayne Indiana? That thing was made in my neck of the woods. I remember seeing some like it back in the day but I never knew what they were or know anything about them.

thanks for all the positive compliments guys. It really needs nothing except that sprocket, the brakes work perfect, even with the rust:lol: I have seen the sprockets on gokart part sites, but theres all different sizes, some are centered, some are offset, some have a built in keyway. Im sure Ill find something that will work. It is super clean for having sat outside, but i think thats because it was brandnew when they left it there! the paint on the frame must be rally cheap, its flaking in huge pieces on the lower, and rear portions! How easy would this thing be to restore! :beer

Good shape, reminds me of the old "commuters" a buddy of mine had. Just don't get the belt wet. My buddy did, and floored it till the friction dried it out, and when it did WOW did it throw him off hard! :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLl6WMoc9WoThe video says Kawasaki atc. I hope it isn't listed on ebay like that. That would be misleading and I have to say, I couldn't support that.
