Tri-z rear axle nuts

I need to loosen the two rear axles nuts next to the sprocket. I don't have the nut wrench for it but thought I'd try a pipe wrench. Wondering though if the nuts have reverse threads on them or standard threads. Is it righty tighty, lefty loosey, or do you turn it clockwise to loosen them?

It's standard threads! Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

pipe wrench will work ,, but marrs up the nuts. a punch may work better..
