need fuel help

ok guys im back into the trike scene again .. as some of the members on here know i have a built auto x. it has a 12:1 wisco std piston, after market cam, lighten flywheel, ported, 28mm carb, and bassani exhaust. i think thats it for the motor..


now my question is what fuel should i use in it ? i tryd 101 and didnt seem rite. but then i put 93 in and it seems to be a little better. would anyone know what jetting should be used ? or at least a rough idea.

At least with my snowmobiles, you just have to get a couple of bigger jets than you have and a couple of smaller ones and run them and go from there. Check your plug and see if its where you want it running and if not, switch depending on if you wanna run leaner or richer. I run just a tad rich to be on the safe side. Theres not really a perfect size for all machines, they are all different in there own way and thats why you gotta try different jets, at least thats what my local dealer says. Hope it helps
