help on moving engine

i want to move the engine in my bike 2 inches forward so i would have clearance for the backwards kick start.who can make me a extender from the back of the engine to the front of the swingarm.i would like the extender to be 2 inches long.here's a pic of what im trying to explain.

it will put the chain in a bas spot, when the rear suspension moves it may throw it, you want the front sproket as close to the pivot point of the swinger for everything to work correctly.

^^^^what he said^^^ whats the problem with the kicker? The fenders? or the frame?

the kicker hits the frame and fenders.

so how could i mod the kicker for it to go all the way down,with these engines you have to get a full kick for them to start.i really dont wont to grind on the frame,that would make it weak,right??

You could get a custom kicker fabbed so it misses the frame

use the kick start knuckle , and have a custom bent kick start made

Get a blaster kicker. It's much closer to the shape you want than the one you have and its much shorter.

Blaster kicker might be too short. The 490's use a REALLY long kicker. They are a b!tch to kick even with the long one. I'm sure its easier on a trike or quad though.

yeah dont grind the frame.. If a modified kicker wont work then dimple the frame

do not move the motor,the angles will be wrong.drive sprocket has to be as close to the pivot of the swingarm as possible.also never grind the frame,it will weaken and destroy the integrity af the frame.get or make a modified kicker.

2"s is allot, just ask your girlfriend :D Really, that changes the exhaust, airbox, shifter, foot peg relationship and on and on....

All kidding aside, look to another solution.... Is this a backwards kick motor that you fit into another chassis? Flip fenders maybe?
