A buddy gave me this turd shortly after my DR350SE was stolen. Cute, isn't it? I got rid of as much pink & teal as possible, but the shock is Pink as well, I'm gonna let it slide(weren't Warrior shocks pink?)
As luck would have it, it needs a total top end O/haul. So it removed the motor today. Pics.....

I had one of those i gave to another member here. I bought it for $100 of some guy that said had the engine rebuilt and when he put it back in it wouldnt run. Hadf spark, fuel, compression. thought maybe the timing was off. looked to be on, checked the cams works working right. I couldnt even get a hit. Worked on it all weekend. Gave it to a member here and he could not figure the damn thing out either. God, i hated that bike.

This thing actually ran & ran great for about 6 months, the valves were always noisy, & I finally got @ to measuring(the "shim & bucket" type valves, argh!) the tolerances, but to have to remove the shims & then go to the stealer & find out they have to be ordered, ahh, I figured I'd wait. Sure enough, not 1 week after I took the valve cover off(yes that's right, no cover plates, that'd be too easy) to measure & replaced the V/C gasket it starts REALLY getting loud, so out the whole motor came. I still haven't torn into it yet, I've been busy so that's where it stands.
Oh, & it really is a fun bike to throw around, it's real light, & sits nice & low, plenty of power, I'm looking forward to riding it again.......
