Throttle problem

Alright I just put my 200x back together and when I started it (push start as of now) it just took off like a rocket!? I had no throttle control at all, any advice?

Check if you installed the throtthle slide in the carburetor correctly.
Also check the free play in the throttle cable.

I agree with Yamada on the slide if you had the carb off. If your off position your slide would be probably almost all the way up if the cap can even fit down. Also does the lever return by itself or does it go and stay at WOT? Always check your throttle control before you fire it up, nothing like bomb starting and having your trike take you on a wild ride, hope you didn't get hurt. Check the cable as well. Wasn't that Goat's old ride??

Yeah it was wild and yeah it was Goats. I didn't have the carb off i just took the throttle cable out of the top. It seemed like i had it in right but i guess not.
