question about 350x engine cases

I found a good engine case for my 350x, it is just the bare case. The only difference is that mine is an '85 and the bare cases are from an '86. Will the guts and jug off my case work in the '86 case? Thanks

Yes sir they will :D

The right case determines how the clutch cable is run, but it can be and should be tapped M6-1.0 while it's apart......

Really all I need is the left case. Somebody ran it without the case saver, chain jumped off, and busted it.

Which hole are you talking about tapping out?

There are 2 raised bosses on the right side center case. You will also need the 86 cable, 86 brackets and 86 clutch cover or change the pivot arm....

If you do a search you may find pictures etc etc. Try 86 clutch routing or 86 updated clutch cable or ??????
