kawasaki Blinker and oil Question

I just bought a 81 Kawi ltd 440. It has no blinkers on it, but when i turn on the switch the light on the 'dash' turns on, but dont blink. If i put blinkers on, and fight to find the wire, will it blink, or be solid like on the guage cluster?

Also, the oil drain plug leaks a bit. Whats the seal called? It looks like a lil brass ring maybe, but I would assume it needs a o-ring or something. Where is a good place online to window shop for parts? thanks everyone

have you checked the bulbs?, 9 times out of 10 if you have a bad bulb, it wont blink on the dash cluster, and will stay on solid.. As far as the drain plug is concerned, maybe you could find a nylon bushing for it
