1986 200x help needed

hello i have a 1986 200x that im not sure runs right. about 3 months ago i was doing two wheeler turns on it to show off then it kicks back and dies on me.
i started it and it ran but it didnt go as fast through the gears since then i have changed the oil on it and done what i feel was needed and its just felt different there was times i was in the 3rd gear i was on low idle than without me giving it any gas it just acts like i shifted into second when i didnt even shift.
could i get some feedback or any useful help.

from what you said i'd say something got sucked up into the carb from the bowl.try cleaning the carb real well.or maybe fuel line is partially clogged,check to see if tank is clean,petcock,and fuel line.
