anyone put a trike engine in a dirtbike?

i got an old xl 125 frame just missing the motor and i got a atc 200s engine.
just woundering if anyone done it, it only for ffun. i knows the engine is a lot wide than the orgainal motor. and will be simi-auot insteda of standard to.

To be honest I would worry more about the height and length of the motor. I'm

not 100 percent sure about the 125 size but i most defintly sure its much smaller

and the 125 motor is fit in the frame tight. Most likely to make it fit you'd need to

cut the front down tube and reposition it? The XL185 is almost a direct swap with

the 200 motor though.

i do know the mounts for the motor are the same if you get the 200 top mounts i had a xl125 motor in a 200s way back when and it bolted right in.

I don't know for sure, i think it will fit just got to cut the top mount of the engine and it will fit in i think. only one way to really find out it to try it i guess.
When i gets some time on my hand i'll try it and get some pics.
