I just installed brand new rear end bearings and there is still slop in my axle. Its like the inner diameter of the bearing is larger than the axle diameter. The bearings themselves have no slop...it is around where the axle slides through the bearings. I tried to different axles and they both have the same problem. Any suggestions?? Thanks,

sounds like the bearings are incorrect I would contact whoever you got them from.

Are we talking a bit of blay or a TON of play? Were the axle journals rusty or worn at all?? Measure them with a micrometer and you may find them undersized a few thousandths. It only takes a little bit to be quite a bit when your grabbing the end of the axle or the tire. The center sleeve can also cause an issue but thats more side to side play until it starts flapping around and ruins your new bearings....
