85 250sx valve adjustment?? how

hey guys just wanted to see how to adjust the valves on my 85 250sx i have the manual but it only shows the 86 and above is it the same or a little different? just want to make sure before i do it. they chatter right now and i wanna get the set before any damage occurs. any info?

What manual are you using? The one available in WCH has the specs estranged gave you right on page 3-1.

I adjusted valves to speck,, but still top end noise,, not too bad,, but obviously something else going on,, bent valve, worn journals, cam chain?

but just gonna ride, and hope for the best,, will rebuild when neccesary,,
love this bike and plan on keeping it for a while, so when times comes,, i will spend the cash and rebuild,,

in the market now for a 2 stroke,, but absolutely none to be had within a 2 day drive around here,, so i think i will be riding the 250sx for a little while longer,,

yea i just wanted to see if adjustment was the same as the 86 due to the manual only saying 86 and after 85 so im assuming its the same
